What is Steel Angle?

Steel Angle, also called angle bar or L angle steel, is a structural steel section with an L-shaped cross section. It is widely used for bracing, frames, supports, towers, racks and fabrication because it provides good strength, easy connection and economical installation.

Equal Angle has two legs with the same width, such as 50*50*5MM. Unequal Angle has two legs with different widths, such as 75*50*6MM. Equal angle is commonly used for standard bracing and frames, while unequal angle is often selected when one leg needs more bearing or connection width.

For 6 meter length, the bundle weight is normally about 1.5MT to 3.5MT per bundle. For 9 meter and 12 meter length, the bundle weight is normally about 2MT to 5MT per bundle, depending on size, thickness and mill packing practice.

Common stock lengths are 6 meter, 9 meter and 12 meter. Customized cut-to-length steel angle can also be supplied according to project requirements.
